Unseen Reason was in the studio today sporting their new UR hoodies and assisting engineer Vic Chico with snare tones and editing. The initial recordings were done in Cubase 4. The multitrack session then had to be edited and consolidated (stay tuned for a tutorial on how to do this) for dumping into Pro Tools. A project a year in the making, mostly from Vic’s admitted procrastination. Finishing up the mixes now in 2012. We recorded in 2011, so it’s been a year. Hi-hat leakage was a major problem but with digital editing, all is not lost. Using the awesomeness of SoundCloud to upload mixes so the band can hear ‘em. Gotta go…. more mixing to be done…..
